Hiring

The Communications Team is not hiring at the moment.
We will be hiring our team in the fall, and the application will be found on the EngSoc apply website.

The application process consists of an online form available in September, as well as a ten minute interview with the Director of Communications, Manager of the team, and a third person.

First Year Project Coordinator

The FYPCO will help develop the Instagram into a useful tool for outreach and help build a strong and relatable EngSoc reputation. This is a position for a FYPCO that loves to be creative, social, and watch their ideas come to life in front of a large audience.
Beneficial Skills: Creativity
Learning Opportunities: Planning and implementing, as the EngSoc Instagram is not fully established yet. You will also get the chance to network with Comm team and market the EngSoc social media.


General Team Members

-Promote the Engineering Society and the Communications Team
-Develop new ideas and methods to improve communications within the society
-Collaborating with the sub-teams to create content to attract students to EngSoc social media

Graphic Design Team Members

-Assisting in graphic design related activities, including making posters, logos, clothing designs, banners, and other requests.
-Attending Graphic Design Team meetings as well as occasional Communications Team meetings and providing input to general matters related to society communications


Photography Team Members

-Photographing events and processing photos
-Watermarking photos
-Developing fun photo campaigns for social media
-Attending Photography Team meetings as well as occasional Communications Team meetings and providing input to general matters related to society communications


Videography Team Members

-Assisting in the making of videos about Engineering Society events and activities.
-The development of storyboards, scripts and ideas.
-Attending Videography Team meetings as well as occasional Communications Team meetings and providing input to general matters related to society communications
